HERE AT OUR HOUSTON LOCATION

OPENED in 1997
U.S.VETS Houston has served more than 127,000 veterans since its opening with transitional, emergency and permanent supportive housing; mental health and substance use treatment; supportive services for veteran families (SSVF); case management; and career services. U.S.VETS Houston provides comprehensive services for veterans at Veterans Village in the Willowbrook area, opened in 2023 after a full-scale renovation of a former hotel now equipped to house 130 veterans. We also operate our service center on Griggs Road, right outside the Medical Center. U.S.VETS Houston is proud to have contributed to the reduction of veteran homelessness in our community, propelling Houston to be among the major metropolitan cities in the U.S. with one of the lowest rates of homelessness and a model nationwide.
