U.S.VETS — Inglewood, the inaugural U.S.VETS site, opened in 1993 with only five clients. Today the location operates over 600 beds of transitional and permanent housing. Employment services are provided through a workforce program that helps over 100 veterans return to employment each year. Additionally, over 300 veteran family households are provided rapid re-housing and homeless prevention services. The facility is licensed by the Department of Health Care Services: #190188AN.
Veterans experiencing homelessness can inquire about Crisis Housing for emergency shelter, Bridge Housing for a safe environment while waiting for permanent housing, or our Supportive Services for Veteran Families program, which helps low-income families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless find safe, affordable transitional or permanent housing.
Veterans in need of employment assistance or career counseling should contact Dawnita B. Montgomery to inquire about our career counseling services. The program is designed to help veterans translate their military experience into civilian employment opportunities.
U.S.VETS — Inglewood provides wraparound services structured to fit the needs of each person who needs them. Those services include but are not limited to case management and aftercare services. Please contact us if you have questions about these services.
