U.S.VETS Long Beach—situated at the Villages at Cabrillo on 27 acres of the former Cabrillo/Savannah Naval housing—provides supportive services for veterans, including transitional housing, permanent housing, career development and housing services. The site’s ADVANCE Women’s Program, the nation’s largest initiative for women veterans, focuses on the needs of female veterans and their children. The site serves more than 800 veterans daily.

Veterans seeking housing should contact our Outreach Team, Outreach Coordinator, to inquire about A Bridge Home for emergency housing, Advance Women’s Program for permanent housing, or our Supportive Services for Veteran Families program which assists low-income families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless find safe and affordable transitional or permanent housing.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
Veterans in need of employment assistance or career counseling should contact Cherrie Lechuga to inquire about our Career Center and career counseling services. The program assists veterans in translating military experience to civilian employment opportunities.
