HERE AT OUR PHOENIX LOCATION,

U.S.VETS – Phoenix has proudly served more than 10,000 veterans since 2001, helping them with housing, workforce development, and case management services.

Our current location at Grand Veterans village is home to 152 veterans transitioning from homelessness to housing and 30 Low-income rentals. 2021 we will be moving to a new location that will allow us to serve more veterans.

The Phoenix location is a qualifying charity of the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit.

Veterans seeking housing should contact Ed Welch to inquire about transitional and permanent housing opportunities, or our Supportive Services for Veteran Families program which assists low-income families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless find safe and affordable transitional or permanent housing.

MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS

U.S.VETS—Phoenix is pleased to offer free mental health services such as individual and group counseling as well as substance use treatment to veterans who need it.

INDIVIDUALIZED SUPPORT

U.S.VETS— Phoenix provides wraparound services structured to fit the needs of each person who needs them. Those services include but are not limited to case management and aftercare services.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

Veterans in need of employment assistance or career counseling should contact Tera Calhoon to inquire about our Career Center and career counseling services. The program is designed to help veterans translate their military experience into civilian employment opportunities.

U.S.VETS — Phoenix has proudly served homeless, at-risk, and underserved veterans for nearly 20 years. With the help of the City of Phoenix, U.S.VETS will relocate to and renovate our new permanent home where we will have the ability to expand and enhance the critical services and housing our veterans deserve.
