At U.S.VETS, our veterans and staff inspire us every day, and today we feature Audra Isbell, a U.S.VETS—Las Vegas employee, a veteran, and a Wound Warrior Project alum. Audra served as a Navy Aviator Maintenance Administrationman and her first duty was with VFA-27 squadron and she helped make sure F/A-18E Super Hornets were mission ready by maintaining their maintenance and inspection records. Audra was also on the USS Kitty Hawk’s last ride and helped bring the USS George Washington to Japan.
After leaving the Navy, she worked for the USO at Camp Buehring in Kuwait, where she provided entertainment programming for the service members stationed there. Audra’s dedication and commitment to service helped her land a position as U.S.VETS—Las Vegas’ Volunteer and Veteran Activities Coordinator. Thank you, Audra, for everything you do to serve those who served.
