The goal of U.S.VETS’ partnership with Wounded Warrior Project is to help enhance and evolve our therapeutic communities in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond, and expand services for women veterans.
Today we feature video of WWP’s Chief Program Officer Jennifer Silva as she testified before the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, Subcommittee on Health, sharing WWP’s longstanding support of women warriors and its recommendations to Congress on how to better serve women veterans.
Funding from the WWP grant directly supports post-9/11 veterans in these areas, providing critical support, connection, and camaraderie for our brave heroes and their families. These programs are powered in part by Wounded Warrior Project® to honor and empower post-9/11 injured service members, veterans, and their families.
